Reuland offers top-of-line Brakes motors with braking capacities ranging from 1.5 to 1000 ft-lb. These motors are designed for frequent start/stop cycles, starting and stopping large inertial loads, and are available in ODP, TEFC, and TENV enclosures, as intermittent and continuous duty, and in single, multi-speed, or variable speed inverter duty designs. The Brake design consists of a direct-acting magnetic disk, heavy-duty brake lining, spline hub, spring-set operation, and magnetically released.
