Reuland Torque Motor

The basic difference between a torque motor and a standard induction motor is in the shape of the speed torque curve and thermal capacity to withstand locked rotor currents. Torque motors are rated at locked rotor torque (inch pounds or foot pounds) where standard motors are rated in horsepower.
